Eco Lake Rules & Regulations

Hours: Eco Lake Park is open every day and evening.

Camping: Camping is currently under construction. Camp is expected to open up mid to late summer 2023.

Trash: Please pack out any trash you bring in.

Restrooms: JCPR plans to add a portable accessible restroom facility in 2023.

Fishing: Fishing is allowed at Eco Lake Park. We follow all current IDNR regulations for size and daily bag limits, and associated fishing regulations. Fishing licenses are required.

Boating: All motor boats used in public waters must be registered. Only trolling motors may be used.

Hunting: Hunting is not allowed on the property. This includes plant, fungi, and animal hunting. Loaded firearms are prohibited.

Shelter: Shelter is first come first serve.

Fires: Fires are allowed in supplied fire rings. Grills supplied for charcoal fires. All fires must be fully extinguished before leaving.

Swimming: Swimming is not restricted. No life guards are present. Swim at your own risk.

Note: No motorized vehicles allowed off road.

Please respect adjacent property owners and stay within park boundaries.

Eco Lake Park is managed by Jennings County Parks and Recreation (JCPR). JCPR is not responsible for accidents or lost private property.
